MY WORK:

A UKCP Registered psychotherapist, I offer a skilled, ethical and confidential service. Each person I work with is a unique individual and I work towards developing a relationship with you where you feel met, understood and respected by me for the person you are now, even if you don’t always feel this way towards yourself.

Because each person who comes to see me is unique, how we work together will depend on you, on your goals, and on the sorts of difficulties you are experiencing.
As we get to know each other, and trust develops, therapy increasingly becomes a time where you feel able to talk with me about the most difficult aspects of your experience.

I work predominantly longer term although I have extensive experience of working short to medium term, from 8 to 40 sessions.

ABOUT ME:

Qualifying as a psychotherapist in 1995, I actively engage in ongoing professional development, abide by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy’s code of ethics, and work to strict standards of confidentiality. As well as offering individual psychotherapy I also teach and run groups. For more information on my teaching and group work, please look at my 'Courses & Groups' page.
